voracious reader. aspiring rapper. law school hopeful. dog mom. exercise enthusiast. purveyor of snacks and mexican food. wanderluster. professional people watcher.

scout in a nutshell:

3-and-a-half-year-old adopted hound mix, consumes all things edible (or believably edible). fine afficionado of chasing squirrels. professional tiger snoozer. phd in cuddling. quesadilla thief. activist for squeaky toy liberation.

 

our purpose:

if I could steal doc brown's time travelling delorian and go back in time, there are a lot of things I would do differently. scout would tell you that she would go back and apologize to all the innocent squirrels she has terrorized on our walks. first and foremost, i wouldn't have waited so long to adopt my noble scout-dog or would never have cut my hair in a long bob. mostly i'd go back and ask for a bit of help through the labyrinth that is undergraduate life and building a resume.

what these ramblings you'll find here on my page aim to do is provide a chronicle of ideas for those young girls out there with big dreams who need a little push in the right direction. i truly believe there is nothing more beautiful and powerful than an ambitious, educated woman who needs no validation from anyone. if i can motivate just one more woman to make a difference in this beautiful world, then my job here is done.
